Slip-Proof and Mistake-Proof the Super Easy Way

  • The Fabric Guides in the Upgrade Kit not only mark the line but also align perfectly against the edge of your fabric, making accurate alignment a breeze.

  • Yes, but you’ll need two other items that come in the Kit. Grip Strips prevent slipping and are the same thickness as the yellow Guides, making everything level. The Guide Lock Strips prevent the long 24" Guide from shifting in the middle.

  • The Kit includes self-adhesive, textured Guide Lock Strips that lock the middle of the 24” Guide in place when you set your ruler down. Attach them under your 24” ruler, and the Guide will press up against them, preventing any shifting while cutting.

  • The yellow Fabric Guides are durable yet thin enough to fit under your rulers. They also have built-in stretchy bands that pull them perfectly straight. Just stretch and slide them straight on and off without bending, and they will last a long time.

  • Yes. While the 2 pieces that make the 24” Fabric Guide include both short hooks and long Guides, one end of the 12” Guide is just a short hook by itself.

Step 1: Attach Grip Strips Under Your Rulers

Attach one strip on each edge of your 12” ruler and two on each edge of your 24” ruler. *Grip Strips are crystal clear and do not obstruct your vision. It's easy to reposition Grip Strips without leaving any sticky residue.

Step 2: Attach Guide Lock Strips Under Your 24" Ruler

The Guide Lock Strips should be attached under your 24" ruler before clipping the Fabric Guide on. They will lock the middle of the Guide in place when you set the ruler down on your cutting mat, preventing the Guide from shifting. Guide Lock Strips are not required for your 12" ruler.
